Crux Wilderness Therapy Drawing — Official Rules
1. Sponsor
This drawing (“drawing”) is organized and administered by Crux Wilderness Therapy, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization located in California. All proceeds benefit Crux Wilderness Therapy’s charitable programs supporting wilderness-based therapy and mental health initiatives.
2. Eligibility
Open only to legal residents of the United States who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees, board members, volunteers, and immediate family members (spouse, parent, child, sibling, and household members of each) of Crux Wilderness Therapy are not eligible to participate or win.
3. No Purchase Necessary
No donation, payment, or purchase is required to enter or win. Making a donation will not increase the odds of winning per entry.
4. How to Enter
There are two ways to enter:
a. Paid Entry:
Participants may enter by any paid method as described in the official drawing promotion materials. Each paid entry corresponds to the number of entries described in the official promotional Materials. There is no limit to the number of paid entries an individual may purchase.
b. Free Entry (No Purchase Necessary):
To enter without making a purchase, complete and submit the official “No Purchase Necessary Entry Form” in full. Limit one (1) free entry per person. Incomplete or illegible forms will be disqualified. This form may be used to enter: https://giving.cruxwilderness.org/npno/
Both free and paid entries must be received by the entry deadline listed in Section 6 below.
(Making a donation increases the number of entries you receive, but does not increase the odds of winning per individual entry.)
5. Entry Restrictions
- Limit one (1) free entry per person.
- Paid entries may be purchased in any quantity.
- Entries that are incomplete, illegible, or received after the deadline will not be accepted.
- The Sponsor is not responsible for late, lost, misdirected, or technical entry errors.
6. Entry Period
Entries will be accepted only within the time frame described in the official promotional materials.
7. Winner Selection
A random drawing will be conducted by Crux Wilderness Therapy on or about the date set out in the official promotional materials from all eligible entries received during the entry period. The odds of winning depend on the total number of entries received (both paid and free).
8. Prize
The prize(s) are listed in the official drawing materials. Each prize is awarded “as is” and is non-transferable. No cash or other substitution will be permitted except at the discretion of Crux Wilderness Therapy if the stated prize becomes unavailable. The approximate retail value (ARV) of the prize will be disclosed prior to or during the drawing promotion.
9. Winner Notification and Verification
Winners will be notified by email and/or phone within seven (7) days of the drawing. If a winner cannot be reached, fails to respond within seven (7) days, or declines the prize, another winner may be selected at random. Winners may be required to provide proof of identity and sign a liability/publicity release prior to receiving their prize.
10. Taxes
All federal, state, and local taxes associated with the prize are the sole responsibility of the winner. Crux Wilderness Therapy may issue an IRS Form 1099 for prizes valued at $600 or more.
11. General Conditions
Crux Wilderness Therapy reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the drawing if fraud, technical issues, or other causes compromise its fairness or integrity. In such cases, Crux Wilderness Therapy may, at its discretion, select winners from among all non-suspect eligible entries received prior to the cancellation.
Participation constitutes full and unconditional agreement to these Official Rules and the decisions of Crux Wilderness Therapy, which are final and binding in all matters related to the Drawing.
12. Release and Limitation of Liability
By participating, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Crux Wilderness Therapy, its directors, officers, employees, volunteers, and agents from any claim, loss, liability, or damage arising from participation or the acceptance, receipt, or use of any prize.
13. Publicity
By accepting a prize, the winner grants Crux Wilderness Therapy permission to use their name, likeness, and city/state of residence for promotional purposes in any media without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law.
14. Privacy
Personal information collected in connection with this drawing will be used solely for the purpose of administering the drawing and will not be sold or shared except as required by law.
15. Governing Law
The drawing and these Official Rules are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in California.
